Sign PDF

Runs in your browser

Draw, type or upload a mark when you need to sign PDF pages. That covers a fill and sign PDF job when the form only needs a signature.

Drop PDFs here or choose files

Files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

This adds a visual signature. It is not a certified digital signature.

How to use Sign PDF

1
Choose one PDF
2
Draw with a pointer, type your name in a handwriting font, or upload a PNG or JPG of a signature you already have
3
Drag the mark onto the spot you want
Use the corner handle to resize. Place it on more than one page if you need to. You can add today's date, which goes next to the signature; drag it anywhere you like.
4
Click Sign PDF and download
The download is named with -signed on the end.

This adds a visual signature. It is not a certified digital signature. Keep the unsigned original until you have opened the new file and the other party has accepted it.

The drawing, the typed name and the uploaded picture stay in this tab. Start over clears them. Nothing is stored for later visits. A locked PDF has to be unlocked first.

Questions people ask

No. The file gets a picture of your mark at the place you chose. That is enough for many informal forms. It is not a qualified or certificate-backed digital signature. If a law or a counterparty asks for that, use the scheme they named.
