Each output is named after its original with -reversed added, so report.pdf becomes report-reversed.pdf. Your original file is not changed.

With a range, only those pages swap places and everything else stays where it was. On a five-page file, 2-4 gives 1, 4, 3, 2, 5. You can list several ranges, such as 1-3, 7-9, and each one is reversed on its own. Ranges that overlap are combined, so 1-3, 2-4 reverses pages 1 to 4.
