How to use Add Page Numbers

1
Choose one or more PDFs
2
Pick the position, the first number, and a style such as a bare number or "Page 1 of 10"
3
Click Number pages and download

The first number can be any whole number, which helps when this file is chapter two of a longer set. Position is a corner or the center of the bottom edge. The mark is extra ink on the page; it does not change the underlying layout.

If pages already have printed numbers, the new mark is added as well. Drop old numbers in another editor if they clash, or number only files that were exported without a footer.

Questions people ask

Yes. Set the first number to any whole number. Each page after that counts up by one in the file you opened.
